Workflows

Chain tools into one run. Your files stay on your device; save a workflow to run the same job again.

How it works: Drop your files on the canvas to see the steps that take them, or start from a recipe. Add steps with the plus button, select Run workflow, then inspect or download every executed step.

How it works

Build a workflow from your files

  1. Drop your files on the canvas, or use Add files. The step picker then shows the steps that take them, with suggestions first. You can also start from a recipe or a saved workflow.
  2. Open a step to change its Settings; its Input and Output panes preview the result from your file or a sample.
  3. Use the plus button to add a compatible next step. Each step receives the previous step’s output. Add an input branch when you want separate results from the same starting files.
  4. On the desktop canvas, right-click an empty spot and select Add node here. After the first step, new nodes start disconnected: drag a connection to them or use their Connect to… menu.
  5. Select Run workflow. Inspect a step’s Output pane or the Results list, then download the files you want to keep.
  6. Select Save to keep the workflow in this browser or download it as a file; Open brings it back later or on another device.
Frequently asked questions

Workflow help

7 answers
Which tools can I connect?

Workflows supports steps for images, PDFs, audio, video and text. The step picker shows tools that accept the current output type; a PDF result cannot go directly into an image-only step. Use a compatible conversion step when you need to change the file type. Each step keeps its own file limits and browser requirements.

Are the previews my finished files?

Sample previews use example files. Choose your own files and run the workflow to create downloadable results from them.

Can I download an earlier step?

Yes. Open the Output pane or Results list to inspect and download every executed step. Download all groups the kept outputs by step in a ZIP archive, so you can keep both an intermediate file and the final result.

What happens if I change a step or stop a run?

Changing a step means its affected results need another run; unchanged branches can reuse their finished results. Stop ends the current run and keeps outputs from steps that already finished. Check the Results list before downloading.

Are my files uploaded?

File processing runs in your browser on your device. Your workflow files are not uploaded to a processing server. Large media results may use temporary browser storage; use Clear results when you no longer need them.

Will this workflow be here when I return?

Yes, the steps and settings are. Your current workflow is kept in this browser and comes back when you return; Clear removes it. Use Save to keep several workflows, or download one as a file to back it up or share it. Your files and results are not kept: add the files again and download results you want to keep.

What does a saved workflow contain?

Only the steps, their settings, how they connect and where they sit on the canvas. Files, passwords, signatures, watermark logos and music are never saved, so steps that need them ask for them again when you open the workflow.
