No. Opening, rendering and filling happen in your browser. The PDF and every answer you type stay on your device and are not written to storage either — they live in this tab until you reload or close it. Website hosting and performance measurement are described in our Privacy notice.

Yes, by default. Your answers go into the form's own fields, so you or the recipient can open the file in any PDF reader and change them. Switch on Lock answers before saving to draw the answers into the pages instead; then they can no longer be edited.

Then it is a flat form: a scan, or lines printed on the page, with nothing to type into. Open it in Sign PDF, which places text, dates and your signature anywhere on the page. The tool offers that button when it finds no fields.

Yes. Answers the standard PDF font cannot spell are drawn with Liberation Sans, an open-licensed font embedded in the file, so letters such as ş, ğ, İ, ł, ř, Greek and Cyrillic appear exactly as typed. Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic are not supported yet; the tool names the field instead of saving boxes.

Some forms contain small programs that add up totals, reformat dates or check what you typed. Those scripts are not run here, so type the final values yourself. The saved file still contains the scripts, and a reader such as Adobe Acrobat may run them when the recipient opens it.

Yes. Tap a field to type; the page fills the width of the screen and the page number field jumps to any page. Small check boxes are easier to hit with the page zoomed in your browser.

Password-protected or restricted forms (remove the password with Unlock PDF first), forms that already carry a digital signature — filling them would invalidate it — and XFA-only forms that open only in Adobe software. This is not a redaction or metadata-removal tool.
