Split & Organize PDF

Keep the pages you need. Split, reorder, rotate or delete pages, with original text and image quality.

Your PDFs are never uploaded

Filled forms become read-only in the exported PDF. Encrypted PDFs, XFA forms and digital signatures are not supported.

How to split and organize a PDF

  1. Open a PDF. All pages start selected, with original page numbers shown above each preview.
  2. Select the pages you need. Drag or use arrows to reorder, rotate sideways pages, and delete unwanted pages. Undo or Reset pages restores your work.
  3. Choose one PDF, one PDF per selected page, or custom page groups. Export, then download your PDF or ZIP.

To work with several documents, merge the PDFs first, then send the result here.

Use Send to → PDF to Image to make JPG or PNG copies of the finished pages. Your edits stay here when you switch tools.

Useful details

Are my PDFs uploaded or saved?

No. Reading, previews and export happen in your browser. File contents and filenames are not sent to Toolkitta. Keep this tab open until you download; reloading clears your files and edits. Website hosting and performance measurement are described in our Privacy notice.

How do selection, page order and groups work?

Page numbers always refer to the original document. Checkboxes choose which pages to export in One PDF and One PDF per page modes. Moving a page changes its output position, not its original number. Custom groups use their own page selection: 1-3; 5,7 creates two PDFs, with each group following your current workspace order. A page can appear in only one group. Deleted pages must be restored before a range can use them.

Does this preserve text and image quality?

Original page content is copied without converting pages into images or recompressing images. Existing selectable text, vector drawings, page sizes and crop boxes are retained. Rotation is added to the original page orientation. Scans remain scans; this tool does not add OCR. Output size can increase because each separate PDF needs its own structure and resources.

Can I undo page deletion or rotation?

Yes. Undo and Redo track up to 40 changes, including selection and page order. Reset pages restores every original page, in its original order and orientation, and selects all pages. Your original PDF on disk is never modified. Editing pages or export settings clears old results so they cannot be mistaken for the current export.

What are the limits and unsupported documents?

Open one PDF up to 50 MB and 300 pages. Encrypted PDFs, XFA forms and digital signatures are not supported; export an unencrypted, unsigned copy in your PDF application first. Standard form fields are flattened: saved values become read-only page content. If field appearances cannot be reproduced, export stops with an explanation. Large or complex files can use considerable browser memory; use a smaller document if your device struggles.

Are bookmarks, links, metadata and deleted content removed?

This tool copies pages, not the entire document structure. Document-level bookmarks, attachments and settings are not carried over, while page annotations and embedded data can remain. Internal links may point to pages that are no longer included. Deleting or excluding a page is not secure redaction, metadata removal or sanitization: shared resources can retain data. Use a dedicated redaction tool for confidential information and review your output before sharing.
