How to change the speed of a video
- Add up to 20 MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM videos, 500 MB each.
- Choose a speed: 0.5× or 0.25× for slow motion, 1.5× or 2× to get through a talk faster, up to 4× for a time-lapse feel. Pick Custom to type an exact rate.
- Click Change speed, play each result and download one video or a ZIP. Use Also to mute, add music, resize or compress in the same pass.

Does the sound change pitch?
No. The sound is stretched to the new length while keeping its pitch, so voices do not turn squeaky or deep. At extreme speeds speech becomes harder to follow; use Also → Mute to drop the sound, or Music to replace it.
Can I change the speed of only part of a video?
Not in this tool: the whole video changes speed. To speed up one section, cut it out with Trim Video, where Speed is available under Also.
Why does the video take a while?
Changing the speed re-times every frame, so the picture is re-encoded by your browser. Short clips finish in seconds; long or 4K videos take longer. Keep the tab open.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on this device, and there is no watermark.
