How to compress a video
- Add up to 20 videos: MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM, 500 MB each.

How much smaller will my video be?
Phone videos are often recorded at 10 to 20 Mbps. Small re-encodes them at a fraction of that and at up to 720p, which often saves 70 to 90 percent. A video that is already compact may not shrink; its row then says No saving, and you can keep the original.
How does Target size work?
Toolkitta divides the size you choose by the length of the video, keeps a small margin for the file structure and sound, and lowers the resolution until each frame has enough data to look clean. If the first result is still over the limit, it encodes once more at a corrected bitrate. A very long video may not fit a very small limit; you are told before compressing.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Your browser reads and encodes the video on this device using its built-in video encoder. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no watermark or account.
Why is it slower on some devices?
Encoding speed depends on your device and browser. Computers and recent phones with hardware encoders are fast; older devices take longer. Keep the tab open until the download is ready.
