Is rotating lossless?
Turning 90° or 180° is, unless you choose Rewrite every frame or add Resize or Compress. Mirroring and flipping always rewrite the frames, because many players ignore a mirror flag. The video data is copied unchanged and only its orientation is updated.
How do I fix a mirrored selfie video?
Tick Mirror left to right, with no turn if the video is already upright.
Why does the rotated video look sideways in one app?
Some older players ignore the orientation flag. Rotate again with Rewrite every frame turned on under Compatibility.
