How to watermark photos

  1. Add up to 20 images — JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, BMP, SVG, ICO or TIFF. They stay in your browser.
  2. Type your text, such as © Your name or your website, or switch to Logo and choose a picture. Set the size, opacity and angle, then pick a corner, drag the mark on the preview, or choose Tile across the image. Step through the preview to check every photo.
  3. Add Resize, Format or Compress from the Also row if the photos are going online, click Watermark, then download them one by one or as a ZIP.

Are my photos or my logo uploaded?

No. The preview and the watermarking run in your browser, and the images, the text and your logo are never sent to Toolkitta. Keep the tab open until you download the results; reloading clears the batch. Website hosting and performance measurement are described in our Privacy notice.

Does a watermark stop people from copying my photos?

No. A watermark shows who a picture belongs to and makes casual reuse less attractive, but anyone with a photo editor can crop or paint over it. A tiled watermark at medium opacity is the hardest to remove. Keep your unmarked originals: this tool always saves new files.

Can I use my logo?

Yes. Switch to Logo and choose a PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, HEIC or any other format the site opens. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. Size sets the logo's width as a share of each picture's width, and opacity, angle, position and tiling work as for text.

How do I put the watermark exactly where I want it?

Pick one of the nine positions, or drag the mark on the preview to any spot. The position is stored relative to the picture, so it lands in the same place on every photo of the batch, and a mark near an edge always stays fully inside the picture. Use the arrows under the preview to check each photo before you start.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes: up to 20 images, 20 MB each and 100 MB in total, with the same watermark on all of them. Download the results one by one or as a ZIP, or send them to another tool such as Image to PDF.

Which letters and fonts can I use?

Bold, Regular, Serif and Mono use the fonts installed on your device, so accented letters, Turkish, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and emoji all show as typed. The optional shadow keeps white or black text readable on both light and dark parts of a photo.

Is quality or metadata kept?

Images are saved in their original format where the browser can write it (JPG, PNG or WebP) at high quality, or add Format to choose another. Every file is rebuilt from pixels, so camera details and GPS location are removed; photos keep their correct orientation. Add Compress for smaller files or an exact size limit.

Can I watermark a PDF instead?

Yes, with Watermark PDF, which stamps text or a logo on the pages you choose without flattening the document.
