About Batch and Interactive Editor

How to use Interactive Editor

  1. Choose Interactive Editor to open batch originals on separate pages, or choose images directly in the editor.
  2. Crop the selected photo. Resize the page to its selection to remove surrounding space. Use Pages to move between photos; each page keeps its own edits.
  3. Choose a format, use Export image, then download the result. Export all pages (ZIP) saves every page. Save project keeps layers editable.

Switching to the editor opens originals on separate pages. Each page is edited individually, with no Apply to all pages. Batch settings and results stay separate from editor edits. Switching back restores each mode's session until reload.

Export one editor page or all pages as a ZIP. Save project keeps editable layers and embedded original image bytes, including original metadata. Exported images are rebuilt from pixels and do not retain that metadata.

How it works

Batch: how to crop an image to exact dimensions

  1. Add a JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or other image. It stays in your browser.
  2. Under Crop, use Straighten for a small tilt, pick an aspect ratio or a Platform size, then drag the frame to the right spot. Exact position takes pixel values.
  3. Choose Save as for JPG, PNG or WebP, and add Resize for an exact output size or Compress for a quality or target size such as 200 KB from the Also row, then click Export.

Are my images uploaded or stored?

No. Cropping, resizing and export happen in your browser; files are not uploaded to Toolkitta. Keep this tab open until you download or send your results; reloading clears the batch. Website hosting and performance measurement are described in our Privacy notice.

Which formats and sizes are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, GIF, BMP, SVG, ICO and TIFF, up to 20 images, 20 MB each and 100 MB per batch. Images and outputs are limited to 40 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. Exports are JPG, PNG or WebP: with Save as on Original, a format the browser cannot write is saved as JPG, or PNG when the picture has transparency. Animated files keep their first frame only.

How do resize modes work?

Without Resize, the export is exactly what is inside the frame. Add Resize and choose Pixels: it starts from the cropped size, and with Keep the frame's proportions on, typing one side calculates the other. Turn that off to choose how a different shape is handled: Fit preserves proportions within the bounds, Fill crops to the exact shape, Pad adds a background, and Stretch changes proportions. Percent scales the crop. Enlargement is off by default.

Can I make the cropped file smaller?

Yes. Add Compress from the Also row: Balanced sets a quality (80 by default), and Target size searches for a quality under a limit such as 200 KB. A detailed crop can still miss it; check the target status and actual size before downloading. The crop is rendered without loss first and then saved once, so compressing does not add a second round of quality loss. PNG can only be optimised losslessly, so choose JPG or WebP under Save as for small targets.

How do size presets work?

Choosing a Platform size such as Instagram Story sets the crop frame to that ratio and the output to that exact pixel size. Move the frame to pick the part you want; every image in the strip shows its resulting size. Sources smaller than the preset are not enlarged unless you allow it.

Can I edit several images at once?

Each image has its own crop, rotation and undo history; pick one from the strip above the picture. Apply this crop & settings to all copies the current frame proportionally to every other image, keeping a locked ratio and relative position. Export all processes images one by one and can be cancelled.

What does a circle crop export?

A square PNG with transparent corners, whatever the format setting, so the circle can sit on any background.

How do I continue in another tool?

Use Send to under an exported image, or Send all to for the whole batch, to open another tool with those results already loaded. Both sessions stay available until you reload the page.
